Kenneth Duane Thatcher Kenneth Duane Thatcher Was born an only child to Madlyn and Milton Thatcher on February 26, 1937 in Janesville, WI. He was called to the Lord on May 15, 2008. Ken married his high school sweetheart, Suzette, in 1958. Survived by his wife; his two children, Lori Ridinger and Steve Thatcher; grandchildren, Meredith, Hannah, Emily, Kristin, Amber, Zachary; and one great-grandchild, Xavier. He was a well-known employee of the local telephone company for 38 years, a Constable for the town of Oracle for eight years, and a long-standing member of the Oracle Union Church, He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and an exceptional "jack-of-all-trades". His passions in life were building sand rails, restoring old cars, and participating in car shows. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and wood carving. Upon retirement, he wintered in Oracle, and spent the summers in Lakeside where he enjoyed spending time with close friends and taking the grandchildren fishing. A memorial was held at Evergreen Mortuary on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Donations may be made anytime to the memorial fund at the Oracle Union Church, P.O. Box 381, Oracle, AZ 85623.
